Terms of Service

By engaging Buildhaus for web design or development services, you agree to the following terms.

Services

Buildhaus provides website design, development, and related digital services as agreed between both parties via email prior to work commencing. The scope, deliverables, and price are confirmed in writing before any work begins.

Payment

A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, before the site goes live. All prices are quoted in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Revisions

Each package includes two rounds of revisions. Additional revision rounds are available at £75 per round. Requests that fall outside the agreed project scope will be quoted separately.

Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith. Delays caused by late feedback or content from the client may affect delivery dates. We will always communicate any changes to timelines promptly.

Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing all required content (text, images, logos) in a timely manner. Buildhaus is not responsible for delays caused by missing or late content.

Ownership

Upon receipt of final payment, the client owns full rights to the completed website and its design. Buildhaus retains the right to display the project in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations

If the client cancels a project after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If Buildhaus cancels a project, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

Liability

Buildhaus is not liable for any loss of business, revenue, or data arising from the use of websites we have built. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the project.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, UK.
